Fukuoka Guitar Fiesta, Another Success
A total of 6 companies in the music products industry staged 3rd electric & acoustic guitar exhibition and sale show on September 16 and 17 in Fukuoka.
Because of bad weather related to Tyhoon No. 18, total attendance for the two days was 600, significantly decreased from 1,090 last year, but sales outperformed last year’s result with 14 million yen.

1st Shigeru Kawai International Piano Competition
Kawai organized 1st Shigeru Kawai International Piano Competition in August. The company has staged Kawai Music competition for more than 50 years with approximately 20,000 entries every time. The contestants are largely students of Kawai Music Courses from young children to adults in their 20s. 3 years ago, the competition added S Course for senior high-school students and upper age pianists.
