Fukuoka Guitar Fiesta, Another Success

A total of 6 companies in the music products industry staged 3rd electric & acoustic guitar exhibition and sale show on September 16 and 17 in Fukuoka.

Because of bad weather related to Tyhoon No. 18, total attendance for the two days was 600, significantly decreased from 1,090 last year, but sales outperformed last year’s result with 14 million yen.

Guitar fans rushed to exhibition floor early in the morning of the first day. This year, the organizer offered a series of seminars and workshops but no stage for entertainment. Admission fee: yen1,000 (yen800 advance-purchase) for adult, yen500 (yen400 advance-purchase) for student, no admission for students less than 15 years old) Excellent proceeds tell that the participated music retailers successfully drew buying public regardless of underserved transportation system.

The 3rd Fukuoka Guitar Fiesta exhibitors included: Korg, T. Kurosawa & Co., Ltd., Kyoritsu Corporation, Yamaha Music Japan, Ishibashi Music Store and Yamano Music Inc.
