Japan’s Music Products Market: Tips and the Prospects from An Expert

Obituary Masakatsu Yanagisawa (1963-2021)

Masakatsu Yanagisawa, chairman, CEO of Pearl Musical Instruments Co., Ltd. passed away on March 29 at the age of 58. As the 4th generation of Yanagisawa family, he headed the company founded by Katsumi Yanagisawa in 1952 until recently. Pearl Celebrates 75 Years Anniversary Online

Pearl carried a special event on April 2 on Pearl YouTube channel in celebration of its 75th anniversary. The company announced new anniversary models and presented artists talk sessions, concerts featuring renowned drummers including Hiro Tsunoda, Maya from LUNA SEA, Natsume from Shazna and Raise A Suilen, and marching drills by Oarai Highschool Blue Hawks marching band.
