Good Design Grand Award to Yamaha Venova
Yamaha Venova casual type wind instruments won Good Design Grand Award 2017. Yamaha has won 280 Good Design awards since 1957. Selected among 4,905 products applied this year, it is the first musical instrument with the Grand Award bestowed in Yamaha’s history.
The past recipients of the Grand Award include Toyota Prius in 2003 and Dyson Air Multiplier in 2010.

Kawai Opens Piano Gallery Dallas
Kawai America Corporation opened Kawai Piano Gallery Dallas which is the second showroom following Houston location at Village at Collin Creek on October 29.
It has Shigeru Room where visitors are invited to experience Shigeru Kawai models in quiet atmosphere at the back, and a 200-seat recital hall to be used for concerts and seminars. Wide-opened entrance is designed easy to drop by and stroll.

Fazioli Celebrates 10th Anniversary in Japan
Fazioli Japan (former Pianoforti) hosted a press conference as part of its 10th anniversary programs on October 16 at Riva degli Etruschi, Italian restaurant in Tokyo. The restaurant purchased a Fazioli 228 in beautiful striped ebony cabinet in 2011 for mini concerts offered in the place.
