Buffet Crampon Japan Marks 50th Anniversary
Buffet Crampon Japan hosted a concert in celebration of its 50th anniversary on November 14 at Kioi Hall, Tokyo, and a reception on 15 at Ambassade de France au Japon, Hirowo, Tokyo, inviting about 200 business partners and endorse artists.

2017 String Instruments Fair
Japan String Instrument Makers Association held 2017 String Instruments Fair at Science Museum, Kitanomaru-koen, Tokyo from November 3 through 5. Opened on the national holiday, the first day saw unusual level of traffic, and 3,283 visitors in total enjoyed the exhibit/fringe music programs for the 3 days. Music Products Sales Went Down in Oct.
Japan’s music products sales and traffic declined due to two typhoons hit in the latter half of October, and heavy rain continued throughout the month. Not a few music retailers reported that business and traffic went down over the previous month. (Reported from 18 music retailers in Tokyo and Osaka.)
Digital piano sales were most affected, but electric guitars have kept upward trend since September. Digital music products and online sales were also good.
