Yamaha Clavinova CLP-585 Wins Red Dot Product Award

Yamaha Clavinova CLP-585 won Product Design 2015 Award of prestigious German Red Dot Award recently.


The Award is given to excellent products, technologies or concepts. This year nearly 5,000 applications were submitted from 56 countries throughout the world. Yamaha music product received the award first time in 1997, and CLP-585 has become the 16th recipient.



CLP-585 which was introduced in May 2014 is a product designed with Yamaha’s 4 principal product manufacturing policies; Loved and played for years, value lasts after purchase, simple design, and fine finish using selected materials.

Comes in black high luster polish cabinet, the piano features high-quality piano sounds derived from Yamaha CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial grand pianos and greatly advanced technologies as well as much refined playability and fine appearance.


Yamaha won Japan’s Good Design Award with CLP-500 Series models in 2014.
