Roland Unveils a Furniture Style Digital Piano In Collaboration with Karimoku

151112_RolandKF-3650Roland showcased KIYOLA digital piano in wooden furniture style cabinet co-developed with a prominent furniture maker, Karimoku, on November 11 at Karimoku Odaiba Showroom in Tokyo.

KIYOLA KF-10 features stylistic furniture type cabinet designed by Karimoku. Three variations of Walnut, Sheer White and Pure Oak cabinets using natural woods are available. Roland spokesman said that the new piano becomes an ideal option for purchasers seeking for a digital piano matched to home decor combined with high quality modern technology.

151112_RolandKF-3691It comes with a matched bench comfortable in long hours of play designed by Karimoku’s established craftsmanship based on latest human engineering.

Karimoku provides Roland with piano cabinets, and Roland completes them with its most advanced digital sound system built in at its main factories in Japan with hands of experienced workers.

The 88-key KIYOLA piano has won 2015 Good Design Award.

Roland starts distribution of the piano in Japan on December 19.
