Kawai and CMIA Joint Collaboration

Kawai Musical Instruments Mfg. Co., Ltd and China Musical Instruments Association signed a basic piano tuning business agreement. China is the world’s fastest-growing and largest piano market, with 7 million household pianos, while the country has a lack of piano technicians. Kawai will be providing the piano tuning know-how and maintenance techniques to CMIA-member piano manufacturers and piano tuners. By next spring, Kawai and CMIA will establish an organization for implementing piano tuning seminars and a ranking system for piano technicians.
