Ikebe Musical Opens Bass House Ikebukuro, Tokyo

One of the leading musical instruments retail chains, Ikebe Musical launched Bass House Ikebe Ikebukuro, the first bass specialist store in the area, on September 1 on the 3rd floor of Rock House Ikebe Ikebukuro. The 3rd floor is dedicated to about 400 bass guitars from entry level to high-end and special custom-built models. The customers can pick up gears of choice as well as matched effect pedals, amps and accessories ready to experience every combination of them. Bass strings packages covered over a full wall give the visitors an astonishing effect. Bass House Ikebe also provides the customers with complete after-sales service, seminars and clinics on the event area on the 4th floor. Hiroaki Sakamoto, assistant manager says, “The customers appreciate the spacious floor. We expect further growth adding products reflecting our ideas and feeding back voices of the customers to fill necessity of growing number of bassists.”

In conjunction with the opening of Bass House, Ikebe refurbished Rock House Ikebe Ikebukuro consolidating electric guitar sections formerly housed separately on 1st and 3rd floors to 1st and 2nd floors for shoppers’convenience sake.

Ikebe supports guitarists and bassists teaming with Get Stomp effect pedal specialist store next to Bass House.
