Yamaha Stages Bösendorfer Dragonfly Concert

Yamaha Music Japan held a first official concert featuring Bösendorfer Dragonfly piano on April 27 at Bösendorfer Tokyo, in Nakano after it was officially introduced in Japan on March 20.

Hirohisa Ezuka, manager of B?sedorfer Tokyo commented, Bösendorfer piano is recognized for its warm, unique sound described as Vienna tone, and elegant cabinet design. Only 18 units of Dragonfly were built, and only one is here in Japan. We hope all the guests enjoy this precious opportunity to experience distinguished sound of the piano and exquisite art case.

Designed after prominent Model 200, Dragonfly comes with meticulous inlay works of dragonfly and azalea motifs expressing the beauty of the Gardens of Sh?nbrunn on the cabinet.

Ms. Yuko Hisamoto, the only Japanese Bösendorfer artist, entertained the audience with works of Frederic Chopin including The Preludes Op. 28 No.7 in A-major, and Johannes Brahms and Franz Liszt.
